Welcome to our little page on DeviantART, eh?

This new project was started by J of =changinglanes and it is dedicated to those, in and of the provincial area code, 613.

For the fans, by the locals. We are all aboot our proud nation of Canada. It's beautiful and diverse province, Ontario. And especially, it's capital; the one, the only? Ottawa--home of the Parliament Peace tower. The Ottawa Senators (NHL). The maple leaf. The Canadian goose. The Rideau canal. And, quite importantly--in this day and age--we are also the home-base to a somewhat more 'worldwide-friendly' half, of North America!

To quote J as he expressed it, in a CL journal recently,

"It's something pretty simple, actually. Something I hope I can do [contribute] here on DeviantART. Something that may have been done before, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) not the way I'd like it to be done. Something fun and, I will assume presently, for all ages. Something with my local community, and photographers, in mind--to help bring them closer together. But that all elsewhere can share in, equally."

With that model in mind, we will try our best each month, to help you, as a community of locals and friends, discover. Our province. Our country. Our true and native land. Together. We will favorite your related images or words. We will showcase and feature it, and you. We will help you both be seen, and recognized. For your art, your photography, your writing, and for your patriotism. We will make this a place, and a community, where anyone and everyone can learn, about what it is to be Canadian.
